THE JAPAN’S LARGEST BITCOIN LIGHTNING COMMUNITY PARTNERS WITH THE PREMIER TOKYO REAL ESTATE COMPANY
Diamond Hands, which is the biggest Lightning Network community in Japan, is working with a top real estate company in Tokyo on a joint study to get more people to use Lightning Network.
Diamond Hands, the largest lightning community in Japan, is collaborating with Open House Group, one of the top real estate firms in Tokyo, on a joint study initiative.
Open House will investigate utilising the Bitcoin Lightning Network for regional real estate transactions.
The real estate company will also try to come up with best practises for infrastructure for local businesses that want to use the Lightning Network.
According to a news statement given to Bitcoin Magazine, Open House Group Company Limited, a leading real estate firm in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area is sponsoring Japan’s largest Lightning Network community, Diamond Hands, in a joint-research initiative.
Open House will support the outreach efforts of Diamond Hands as it strives to increase regional Lightning Network usage. Open House will work with the Lightning community on research and development for both internal projects and community development. This will make it easier for individuals and businesses to use Lightning.
In addition, Open House strives to enhance its understanding of the ecosystem by examining enterprises’ full-node business activities. This research will focus on the secure storage of data on personal devices and cloud databases on full nodes at real estate premises; the utilisation of Bitcoin layer-two technology for real estate transactions; and the routing of payments over the Lightning Network.
Before this announcement, Diamond Hands was in the news because it was working with ZEBEDEE, a bitcoin-only gaming company, and Mimesis Capital to make Lightning more popular in Asia.
As a result, Mimesis Capital, a family office with a focus on bitcoin, intended to harness the connections of Diamond Hands to give business consulting to companies seeking to incorporate the Lightning Network into their industries. ZEBEDEE also wanted to build infrastructure that would make it possible for more people to play bitcoin games in the area.
Koji Higashi, a co-organizer of Diamond Hands, said in the past, “The Diamond Hands community has been a big reason why people and businesses in Japan have started using Lightning since last year. We want to take this even further by working with companies and communities in other countries.”
